TULUM - the 'Walled City'

Mounted high on the edge of a cliff, this abandoned city looms above the deep turquoise of the Caribbean and a beautiful sandy beach below. The city within the walls only lived the upper cast of the Maya those who held power. All other Mayans lived outside the walls in simple "palapa" or thatched roof houses. A guided visit of the site takes about 45 minutes and then you are left time to take photos or run down to the beach for a dip.

The guided tour then continues to XEL-HA
(pronounced shell-ha).

Xel-Há means 'where the water is born' The story is that the Mayan Gods gave Xel-Ha to mortals. Guarded by the symbols for Parrot Fish and Iguana representing wisdom, illusion and love are the historical elements representing the Park's natural beauty and its role as a cultural and religious center. Xel-Ha is a beautiful natural water park, home to many varieties of colorful tropical fish. You will find some thing for every age group of your family from a children's water playground to the courage jumping cliff or visitors can snorkel, sunbath, and relax Xel-Ha is 15 minutes north of Tulum, ideally located to combine the day with a visit to the ruins.

Refunds and Balance Payments:

For our charter tours and events, you will receive a full refund if you cancel your reservation at least 7 days in advance. We also ask that you submit any changes to your guest list at least 3 days before your tour so we can finalize our preparations for transportation, food, and staffing. For our other tours, your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your reservation at least 7 days before your tour. "No Shows" wil incur full tour charges. Needless to say, you will receive a full refund if weather conditions or other factors force us to cancel your reservation. Balance payments in Mexico must be paid in cash with U.S. dollars or Mexican pesos. If you wish to pay by credit card, a surcharge of 5 percent of the payment amount will be charged to your credit card.
