Chichen Itza by Airplane

Chichen Itza was built by The Maya who were an ancient civilization of southern Mexico and the Central American countries of Guatemala, Honduras Belize and El Salvador. Today there are an estimated 6 million Maya living in these regions and speaking a variety of Maya languages.

The Chichen Itza ruins are a 5 hour bus ride from Playa del Carmen, and by mid morning these popular Mayan ruins are extremely crowded and the sun is blazing. We will get you there in under 50 minutes, arriving early, well before tourists driving from Cancun. Bus riding tourists will have to spend a very long full day to see the ruins, but you will be home by early afternoon, in plenty of time to enjoy the beach or shop for the rest of the day.
