Turtle Bay Cafe: Located in Akumal city the restuarant has very good breakfast and good baked items.

There are two small markets inside Akumal, one on the left handside and one on the right. The main market has an amazing variety of liquer and all basic foods and vacation items. 20 minutes south is Chedraui Market located in Tulum on the road heading down to the beach. It is a large grocery store.
